Competition Readiness Class
This class is for all registered competitors of the Proud Lady Beauty Show and licensed barbers and stylists in future Proud Lady Beauty Show competitions. Looking for the best way to prepare for all aspects of competing? Look no further. Pat Grant-Williams will teach you everything from how to correctly follow competition rules to how to choose the right model. Other topics to be covered include how to present hair and wardrobe, creating a winner's acceptance speech and a press release. A question and answer period will follow this class.

Interpretations
Have you ever looked at a haircut and wondered how it was achieved? What techniques did the stylist use? Which parts and sections were used? What angles did they use to cut the hair? What hair texture works best with that haircut? If so, this class taught by the master, John Atchison and his Artistic Team will teach you all of this and more so that you can cut your own interpretation and stop copying. You will be able to create your own interpretations from any texture or length of hair.
Materials needed: Scissors, combs, water bottle and hair clips. Mannequin provided.

Advanced Hair Color Made Simple

Styling Your Way To The Top
If you want to improve your comb-out techniques, this is the class for you-the stylist! A review of the basics enables us to renew the classics. Taught by one of the country's top stylists, Thomas Hayden, you will enjoy a two-hour session on styling tips. Hayden will demonstrate how simple hairstyling can be when the head has been properly cut and set. There will be a special discount on haircutting videos to all attendees at the class. Layers
Bobby J. Hunt of Bobby J's will teach you the simple form of advanced hair cutting which will consist of three forms of layering: basic, over directed and square layering.
