RUDOLPHUS JOHNSON, SR. President Pride & Power, Inc. Pride & Power, Inc. was the brain child of Johnson's great, great grandmother. She had a vision of creating a business that provided opportunities for the community. In 1964 Johnson expanded on his great, great grandmother's ideas and began to produce hair care products. His communications and tradings with Africa have given him great insight to what can help the Black community succeed. His philosophy is that we need to relate back to our ancestor's ways of life - business for the community before jobs for the individuals, and pride in ourselves before power.
