Curtis launched this business venture after serving as the assistant to the great Dr. George Washington Carver for 7-1/2 years. Always concerned about improving the economic base of African-Americans, Curtis continuously works with students in the Detroit school system to help build self-esteem. Curtis Laboratories specializes in organic products for corrective hair and skin care and rubbing oil for the relief of arthritis, rheumatism and muscular aches.
